I first made this type of horn when I produced the MX900. Unfortunately, I can't use this horn in the new system as the crossover point into the horn is around 600 hz, so I have had to make a bigger more open horn.
For me, the asymmetric horn makes sense because with a ground stack, I always try to get the hf to beam down, in as much as there's no point in having half of your vertical dispersion going into the roof or the sky.

i thought i might start angling the baffles down a bit for the HF horns, as all our gigs use ground stack. would this cause problems? or does it do the same thing? i can't see how it would cause problems
as far as the NCA goes - it's all made in France, and i'm pretty certain they do their own mouldings. they sound very nice.
