Sound system guidelines - TWENTY-TEKNIVAL – 1st of May 2013

Cette année, le teknival du 1er Mai fête ses 20 ans.
This year the Teknival of the 1st of May celebrates its 20th birthday.

Depuis 1993 la culture tekno underground continue d'exister tant bien que mal.
Since 1993 the underground tekno culture continues to exist despite difficulties encountered.

Réunissons nous tous pour fêter dignement cet événement, que tout se passe bien, une fête belle et représentant bien l’esprit de la free party : solidarité, démerde, partage, générosité et esprit festif ... bref un bordel… organisé !
Let us all gather to properly celebrate this event, let us make sure that all goes well, let’s have a great party representing the spirit of the free party; solidarity, resourcefulness, sharing, generosity and festive spirit… all in all an organised mess…!

Le côté revendicatif du teknival de l'année dernière (LEGALIZE TEKNO) n'est pas mis de côté bien au contraire à vous les sound system de le mettre en avant sur vos façade, le combat continue et ne faiblira pas...
Last years’ teknival claim “LEGALIZE TEKNO” has not been put aside, quite the opposite, it’s up to you, the sound systems, to put this forward, the combat will continue and will not weaken…

En participant à ce teknival, je m’engage, au nom de mon sound system (ou groupe de sons) à respecter les points écrits dans cette charte.
By participating in this teknival event, I commit to, in the name of my sound system (or sound system collective), respecting the points outlined in the following guidelines:

Site ouvert à partir du mercredi 01 mai pour la préparation de l’aménagement.
The site opens from Wednesday 1st of May for preparation & festival set-up.

Montage des sons possible à partir du jeudi 02 mai au matin.
Sound system set-up possible as of Thursday 2nd of May in the morning.

Musique jusqu’au lundi 06 mai, 14 H maxi.
Music until Monday 6th of May, until latest 2pm.

Coupure du son chaque jour de 14H a 16H pour nettoyage.
Stop sound daily from 2pm until 4pm for cleaning.

Démontage des sons jusqu’au 07 mai 14H.
Dismantling of sound systems until 7th of May at 2pm.

Possibilité de rester sur site pour nettoyage jusqu'au mercredi 07 Mai.
Possibility of staying on site for cleaning until Wednesday 7th of May.

Je m’engage, en plus de m’occuper de mon son, à prendre du temps chaque jour pour l’organisation générale du teknival. (Comme quand vous organisez une fête, vous passez du temps sur le parking ou à la donation, sauf que là, comme on est beaucoup plus nombreux, c’est plus facile.)
I commit to, as well as looking after my sound system, taking time every day for the general organisation of the teknival. (just like when you organise a party you spend time in the car park or collecting donations, except that here, as there are many of us, it is easier).

JE M’ENGAGE AU NOM DE MON SOUND SYSTEM OU DU REGROUPEMENT DE SON QUE JE REPRESENTE, A ENVOYER 3/4 PERSONNES POUR PARTICIPER A L’ORGANISATION, PENDANT 2 HEURES, CHAQUE JOUR , SELON LE PLANING QUI ME SERA REMIS AU DEBUT DU TEKNIVAL.
I MAKE A COMMITMENT, IN THE NAME OF MY SOUND SYSTEM OR OF THE SOUND COLLECTIVE WHICH I REPRESENT, TO SENDING 3-4 PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANISATION, DURING 2 HOURS EVERY DAY, ACCORDING TO THE PLANNING ALLOCATED TO ME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TEKNIVAL.

Je resterais disponible au maximum possible pour filer un coup de main en cas de galère.
I will be available to lend a helping hand as much as possible in case of any issues which might arise.

Plus généralement, je m’engage à faciliter l’organisation du teknival dans l’intérêt de tous.
Generally, I commit to making the organisation of the teknival easier in the interest of all.

Je m'engage aussi personnellement à participer au briefing de 30 minutes qui aura lieu tous les jours à 11H.
I also make a personal commitment to taking part in the briefings of 30 mins which take place on a daily basis at 11am.

BEDLAM Sound System & ASSOCIATED FAMILY

Bedlam Sound System was founded in Dalston, East London in 1992. The Sound System has been involved in the organization of the first House Party in 1990 across squats Harlesden, North London. It was a free tekno Sound System and an early adopted the lifestyle traveler mainly because of the Criminal Act that forced him into exile in Europe as well as their friends Spiral Tribe. Travelling techno motor movement in Europe and led by Steve Bedlam and four others helped themselves by numerous other small hands, the first Rave were organized in the early 90s and later was present at Bedlam Teknival of Castlemorton in 1992 .

After many evenings with Spiral Tribe eg Black Mountains or the Smeatharpe Free Festival in England, the Sound System becomes known in the years 1990-2000 on the Free Party scene throughout the UK and Europe.

In 2000, Steve Bedlam and Bashment_Bish (Member of Negusa Negast sound Reggea Roots Brixton) System despatched all their container shipping in Australia for the tour "OZ 2000" in the desert of the same name for a big party in association with Mutoid Waste for the famous 2000 EARTHDREAM reported in a video and a CD.
Bedlam Sound System is also known for the "Free NRG" organized Biron Bay (video below), whose principle was to create a "Free Beach" or "free range" "for the New Year in a spirit of unity.

Part of her also organized parties in East Timor later when Steeve Bedlam, he now runs a business audio system installed in London ...
