Guys can anyone tell me if it is possible to wire an AKG C520 headworn mic to a trantec S5.5 belt pack?
I have the wiring diagram from Trantec but, I just wanted to make sure just in case?
I am assuming the the Red wire from the mic would be connected to Pins 2 + 3 and the Screen would be connected to Pin 1 on the Mini XLR?
I am not sure if the AKG would be compatible?
Can anyone help?

Hi Guys managed to speak with John at Trantec today and he has told me that to wire a Phantom powered mic with two wires should be as follows:
Pin 1 - Ground = Screen
Pin 2 - Audio = Red wire
Pin 3 & 4 - Bias Load Resistor 125mW 10K ohm.
Pins 2 & 4 should be joined together.
I thought I would share this incase anyone else wants to go down this route? I will let you know if its a success? smiley20
