Has anyone had any experience with this sub ? ive just got mine from a well known ex hire company & all 4 of mind seem to exhibit some kinda distortion ... i cannot quite work it out .. all drivers look healthy enough ...
i wonder if this distortion could be cause it pushes 135db spl ... & it is a relatively small .. not particularly deep cabinet! ... it quite hard to work out ... but it sounds like it makes a bit of noise thru its bass port holes! ...
Would it improve the sound if i have foam covers put back on front ... ?
im hoping to test them along with some mid tops soon .. to see if i will still notice them ... kinda alarming .. not the sort of sound quality i would have expected from Meyer ... all other subs i have ever heard .. when on own .. just sound rich & sub bass with no artifacts ...
any suggestions or mention of love or hate for this speaker would be appreciated ..
