Cubosub with 15" ?

I read on the Cubosub plan that we can use a 15" driver in it.

any idea how low could I go with a Fane sovereign 15 600 lf in a Cubo? (I can get some at a good price)

The 15-600LF is the bare-ish minimum when a pair is used in a single Cubo Sub, however sensitivty isn't raised with 3 dB due to coupling. It equates to an 18" with a 7.6 mm Xmax (but Xmech isn't the sky). A single 15-600LF is best suited for Cubo 15 Extended (and quite a good budget driver for use in Cubo 15).

do you think that a 15-600LF loaded Cubo 15 Extended could play lower than my lovely Cubo12 loaded with pd12sb30 ?

Cubo 15 Extended will go both louder and lower (a bit louder and about 10 Hz lower).

I have just built a pair of Cubo's 15" design and they are great looking subs, I am just waiting to order a 1200 watt amp to power them, its driving me nuts not being able to give them a test drive but as is said "all good things come to those who wait" lol
