most out of kappa pro 15a's

can anyone tell me what the best horn design would be to get the best out of my eminence kappa pro 15a's.as i have been able to get hold of some quite cheap s/h.the long throw type horn would suit me best as i do mobile disco's and also outdoor events so i need the projection and spl.also i would like a good mix of kick and sub if that's possible cause i play mostly breaks,hardstlye and drum n bass.the hd15's look a good design for it as they are compact and give it out,but would this suit the drivers?also they are more punchy and would i then need some 18's to give the sub?if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.cheers(lenny b)

What frequencies do you want to cover?

i want to cover from 30 or 40 ish to about 200 if thats possible.i've recently been told that either scoops or reflex will be best to get theese frequencies and sound pretty clean.is this correct?

a proper scoop don't sound so good over 130 hz...the rcf scoop miniscoop can do it but load a 18", I resize this plan check it here . However simple a reflex correctly tuned, can do the job or the fane ported horn too i think..

would the miniscooper 18 on the plans page work if it was scaled down to a 15,if not can i have the measurements of the scaled down rcf?cause i can't see any measurements on the plans.i'm more interested in the scoop than the reflex due to greater spl levels.

ok cheers mate.would it make a difference if it had a panel behind the driver like full size scoops or not.also would it make a difference if it had a curved former at the bottom of the throat instead of a straight angled piece.although if this design works best as it is then i'll go for it.

i forgot to say that i scaled the miniscoop down to a 15 on the front plan page by dividing the measurement by 18 then multiplied by 15 to get them.will this work right or is there more to it than simply downscaling?

if put other braces will be better, in my design I don't put it because of the placement of midtop.
A scaling would work but shoud be better sim the scaled plan and sim to tune all the design...however my design has not be prototyped so...good luck mate
