I usually take the port volume into account when doing the sim.
For a mate, I modified the BCsub18 design to be optimal for Fane 18XB playing kick.
He built 6x of them, and says they throw inside and out, and scare people. :lol:

Lev: Fashion aint always correct. Round ports have less wall area and therefore present a more accurate sim.

All your advice is well appreciated. Im better at the wood work than computer programs so a little more help please. Planing on building 2 SMT 212 with 3 of these reflex boxes under them so box dimensions need to accommodate the SMT 212
