well, the design is quite old, from a time when bass was heard rather than felt. They suited the music of the day Rock/folk.
Im a regular user or 215mk3, and they can be good for other genres. used with the martin BSX it is a nice bass section

I will get back to you on design revisions... let me just have a second look at my sketch

The modifications make it much easier to build and alot stronger... im sure Tony ASS will coment

That's what I heard too,but strange,you don't see them anywhere.I visited one of the big sound hire people in Cape Town and found to my surprise 32 martin 115's ,some still loaded with the original Gause drivers,stored in the back yard,in the rain.I nearly got a stroke[img]smileys/smiley11.gif[/img]
Somewhere else,indoors,are 30 EV mtl4's they're not using anymore + Crown amps to mach.They are willing to sell,but for a mad price[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]
