Plans for Mid-Highs 8" Driver was created by pedrojc10
Hello Everybody,
I got some excellent drivers to build a small 2.2 soundsystem. I am atatching some plans for line arrays using a dual 8" drivers plus the compression driver which cloud be useful for someone. But actually I am looking for something simpler like a PA enclosure. So, I was wondering whether anyone can suggest a dual 8" inch speaker plans for the mid-highs taking into account that it will play above 120Hz.
The subs are Cubo 12 loaded with 12NW100 B&C and amplified with NU6000 and the mid-highs will be amplified with Behringer EPX4000.
The driver are:
8m400 midrange driver (18 sound) www.eighteensound.com/Portals/0/PDFs/8M400.PDF
DE500 compression driver (B&C) www.bcspeakers.com/products/hf-driver/1-0/de500
SST1 horn (Eminence) www.eminence.com/speakers/hornflare-detail/?model=SST1
FD-250 passive crossover 2000Hz (beyma) www.usspeaker.com/beyma%20fd250-1.htm
The horn (waveguide) SST1 have the same dispersion angles than that used in the messurement for the DE500, but it has a external size similar than 8", So the SST1 have to determine the front internal width of the enclusure.
Thank you in advance for replay
Best Regards
