Found some plans, look good. But does anyone know where the high end cuts out on these designs?
The JBL 2445's i have can go down to 500 Hz but would like to keep it to 1000 Hz and above. (narrowed smith horn is what i'm gonna build for it)
MTH-30's (x4) Running the low end, for a nice compact setup

Thanks bitzo, and could you post hr inputs (if thats what your using) as i have been trying to figure it out and a reference would be good to work off

a wbin layout make some distortion that colour the sound....for midbass is really good but for pure mids....I don't know but more experienced people could explain better than me.
However in this pdf I can't find BL value. Without it I can't sim.
Here's the sim kappapro10 loaded (just because I've already the parameters in the akabak model)

Bitzo, please excuse my ignorance, as i don't quite know much about this yet.
from the graph, i see that i could use this from about 175 Hz to about 600ish Hz without any issues?
and my 2445 can crossover at 500.
I searched in WinISD and the BL for the driver is listed as zero, and not sure how to obtain the measurement
I'm Going to give this a try, as i have all the materials lying around, but have some other priorities before i get to it.
My end goal is to replace some commercial 15" mid tops.

maybe a front loaded ported horn would be a better choice jbl4512 I guess. How do you want to stack your system?

two MTH-30 on sides stacked
was hoping for 1 or 2 10" mid horns
JBL 2445j on a smith horn im going to build (with a box around somehow)
But that JBL Horn looks like a rather simple build and nice. Any chance of plans for something similar?

I run MTH-30's to 120 Hz, its seems as though it could go higher. (150- 180)
not too worried if there is a bit of overhang off of the mth
If the tens are not going to work:
I forgot i also have a nice pair of 12" Radians (model 2312)
TS PARAMETERS:
Resonant Frequency (Fs) 56 Hz
Impedance (Re) 5.3 ohms
Total Q (Qts) .214
Mechanical Q (Qms) 1.94
Electrical Factor(Qes) .241
Comp. Equivelant Vol. (Vas) 46.64 Liters / 1.65 cu. ft.
Voice Coil Overhang (Xmax) 3.66
BL Factor 23.1 T-M
Reference Efficiency (%) 3.3%
Surface Area of Cone (Sd)m2 .053 m2- 530 cm^2
AND those could go into a SMT112 (without the top).
But would still like to use these EV 10's as well
