Sub Bass in Cinema Movies

Went to see "Battle Los Angeles" at Odeon Greenwich last night (studio 9)..

Have never been subjected to so much sub bass in a movie cinema in my life..

Actually made my breathing and heart rate race in places...

yep, cinemas seem to be getting louder, the kind of volume that becomes annoying at times, far too much

Sounded like huge number of cabs, not just SPL, but humongous air movement..

watching a good film with good sound smiley32

i sometimes rig up projector, 4 monitors and 4x 18" subs in summer, great stuff

you'd be surprised, probably 2 cabs at the most

if you're sitting in a peach seat, 2 x 18's in a big ole box with huge ports can fool you smiley2
