Fane Sovereign 12-250TC in flared cab was created by space141
Hello,
I want to build some mid/tops for my system but really want them with a flared design. I know there are already quite a few designs out there but most of them seem to require two speakers - such as the MT-102 on speaker plans.
I want to build a Jah Tubby style midrange box and have found some plans on this french website - hornplans.free.fr/cel_1x12expo.html - called the Celestion Expo Bass Medium which has a fantastic double flare design, although the top and bottom aren't curved but are sloped.
Would anyone be able to give me advice as to whether the Fane Sovereign 12-250TC might be compatible with this enclosure or know how I might be able to modify this cabinet to be suitable with this design as it's within my price range and covers the frequency band that I need to fill between my HD-15 horns and bullet tweeters.
If not possible to modify the cab then could someone recommend a suitable driver...?
Many thanks,
Thomas.
