Thank you in advance :)
I have a satori driver 6 "speaker replacement of 8 ohm and an re of 6.2.
Can it be used to replace a damaged speaker of 8 ohm with a re of 5.85?
and what possible effect will it have on the cross over design.
The new driver(s) is of much better quality than the blown one.
The tweeter is a ribbon crossover at 3.5
thank you for your valuable time and interest
:) :) :)

If the new driver is of much higher quality then the blown one, does that mean you're replacing it with a different driver/ model? If that's the case the difference in Re would be the least of your problems.

Well, it isn't optimum to replace a driver with a different model but the drivers likely will be similar in behaviour around that crossover point. In the low end of the spectrum they'll probably exhibit some differences, due to having differences in Fs, Vas and Qts, as well as Sd.

As said before, these differences will have more influence then a few tenth of an Ohm difference in Re.
