Lev buys this so he can play Return of the Jedi as it was meant to be played by the man himself.
But back to Serious Business.
Are the Prolines imported and rebranded Deton A.ONES?</font>
I have the higher power one that Thomann hasn't imported on my bench, and it does the job very well for that small price tag (even smaller round these parts).
Yup.

And if you play it like that regular, with 1kw 5"VC drivers, there is added chance you could blow the amp, as is the case even with Crest/Crown/QSC.
I know nothings perfect but if your playing an amp within spec then I wouldn't expect it to blow or have higher failure rate. If it does then it shouldn't be rated at that power
Exactly!

Just thought I would mention how chuffed I continue to be with these beasties...
I was always impressed with the 4ohm bridge and 4ohm stereo on my old 2700, but the 8ohm stereo performance seemed severely lacking, which is theonly reason I sold it.
Levy, seems like the 2700's are quite deep...they actually look deeper than their width ?
If so, standard 19'' rack case is out the question & wouldn't fit ?

Cant remember actual measurements.
But you will have a little overhang in most cases/racks that are not extra deep.
However the rear gator cover/rack door always closed with mine no problem.
