I've got a couple of them. They're quite old now, must be 10 years since they made them. They were made in Bristol. I've never had any problems with mine.
It's quite a basic amplifier but does everything it claims to. Output is 600w per channel at 4ohms, 380ish at 8ohms, 1200w at 8ohm bridge. I've always been happy with the sound quality.

Never used the Ve series, but used the KA series many times and I'm to believe the KA series was the newer version of the Ve series. Never missed a beat unless you thrash the ass off'em then they don't like that for very long, but keep'em in check and I've heard of many PSL amps going for years!
Great build quality, nice sounding plus reliability if you look after them you can't go wrong. Also the bigger KA and Ve series are great for driving large bass cabs. I know of some KA series that do a great job on a regular nightly run! smiley2
