definitely not sse.

@CHAMPION
where did you find the plans? I've got the 24" turbo ones, is it just clever scaling?

close but thats the bs600 not the sb121, which is alot bigger

it is so big infact i think its roughly the same size as the bs1200's so you could have a neat little stack of 4 sb121's, 2 bs1200's and 2 mx600's

Whoops. Now I remember the Turbo 21s, there is no way that a 21" could fit in there. looks like I got some photoshoopping to do later.

@CHAMPION
only heard Turbo 24s by themselves being tested, so I can't pass judgement. I'd expect them to sound like louder 21s really when playing program material, can't justify their size at all.

but i was thinking whether i want 18" or 21" subs... i think 21" would fit in better with the double 15"

have you tried carrying them instead of dragging them

Anyone got any ply?

If your mid highs are too heavy for you, how are you going to cope with 21" subs.

I'd go for multiples of what you have for lower, bigger bass end. Easier to stack that way too and easier when you do smaller venues to take a smaller amount in

Just to put things into perspective. The SB121H has the same frontal area as the BS1200 but is deeper. another idea would be to get hold of an MX121ST These cabs are 21's and are the same size as the MX600, MX900, and the MX1200. This was my last big complete system and finally after a few different sub bass cabs, the RX121ST emerged, which then gave me a 4 way system with just one box size.

Peace and goodwill to all speaker builders

Tony

that is indeed a good point. but as has been mentioned before the bs1200 is better then the mx1200. for this reason i will stick with the bs1200, as the sb121 matches the bs1200 i think that will fit in with my plans nicely and provide a nice clean stack
