Stipe, on SP you write that the rear chamber is too big....so what do you think to add brace panel like the optional panel B in the bull-x miniscoop?

I've built these. Two things are paramount:
You need to use double front baffle.
You need to make panel B double and extend the front one by 70mm.
I also changed the bracing between the front baffle and rear baffle. I used two lots of 18mm @100mm layed face down. I did this top and sides.
All this gets the driver under control and sounding great.

Hello to everyone,
As first version of MS18 was designed only by sim to explore or define border between BR and horn mode. First model with too large chamber relied more on BR mode which at the end have resulted with insufficient cone control and required modification to make it work.
Due to that problems and due to fact that we can never have enough "mini scoops" in a world I had "obligation" smiley1 to make second version based purely on rear loaded horn mode - approach.
I have tried to maximally simplify building / panel cutting but without compromising intended design.
If you check MKII plan closely you will see that all panels are dimensioned at nice "round" numbers and that
there is few panels that share exactly same dimensions (panels "B" and "G" , panels "D", "E", "F") , same width of "throat panel T" and chamber braces, same height of "horn braces" as panels "B"&"G") ..and only one "nonstandard" angle side-cut (8degrees at panel "C") - all other is pure 90degrees or 45degrees for corner pieces.
All intended to make panel preparation and building easy as much as possible - I think smiley1 .
However this one is still NOT BUILT OR TESTED (which was also case with MKII and what resulted with unsatisfactory results without modifications) ..so before first relevant testing is done any potential builder may be volunteer "beta tester" and I really can't claim anything.
..So at the moment published only for those who can spend some wood+ time for test. Sims says that all will be nice now (But who believe sims any more  ... ...... )
Eh , and plans:
Best wishes,
Stipe
