People saying XB in these.
For kick yes, as a full sub/bass cab I would suggest not, cone is not stong enough.

I've loaded my ES18BPH with the RCF LF18G401 and it kicks like a mule when playing techno/hardstyle/trance.
But I find that I have to LP cross it very low at 120 hz for other styles of music like pop and rock to give a ''uncoloured'' sound.
Anything above and it starts to sound very coloured and undefined.

Any ideas?

ok just going over the plans for this cab, and the angles dont add up, ive re drawn it in cad, and to scale on paper. the issue is with panel c....... the plans show it joining from the corner of section g..... but if you bring it in by 15mm from the corner all measurments are correct ishhh. see pic below.....

has any one else had or seen this issue........

by bringing it in 15mm it corrects the measurements where part c meets b and d, the angle between d and c is 90 degrees...... b to c is 35 degrees, the only angle that is out is c to g this becomes 37 degrees not 40 as plan............ the length of panel c changes as well.

yeah discovered this 2 years ago.

i think i just changed the angle on the end of the panel to suit. it was only 3 degrees or something like that.

lol..... if just change the end angle it effected all the angles, instead of being 2 90 sections it would be 2 degrees less between c,d,and e and 4 degrees between g and c....... i reworked it to this..... see pic below.......

it makes the rear chamber ever-so slightly smaller....
