even less would be ok, the overall chamber size is what matters..... for a minimum i would say 20mm

Thanks for reply also how do they sound in a reflex say b&c design i was also offered some wharfdale lix 18 sub cabs do you think the turbo would work in there ? any advice would be appreciated smiley20

with these drivers if there isn't enough gap between the magnet and rear baffle the driver will get very hot and so will not be able to be driven at very high volumes for a long period of time as it will blow.
