Hog Scoop strange vibration was created by shivolastudio
Hi bros! I want ask you for some advice. In our new hog we can hear some bad vibration around mid-bass frequencies and (at loud volumes) also a bit lower than mid-bass. We don't know why. I've seen some other finished projects and i notice some differences.
Our Hog is made of poplar plywood, little errors in the project are of 2 mm max (position of the parts). We used wood vinylic glue for all the pices, exept "H" and the higher part of "br. 4".
For first my question are:
- The problem could be the cable, but we ascertain that it was secured glued in the wood without possibilities of vibration in the wood.
- Between the driver and the wood there's nothing, do u think i must place something in?
- I've noticed that in some other project people used more screws! We used 7 screws max for piece, in some others we used also 3 or 2.
- It's possible that some some woods arent glued weel, so they can make vibrations?

Thank you very much :D

Nono, i mean 2 mm in positions of the woods, there aren't holes. About pics i don't know, i have only pictures of the project for demonstration, but here are them,

Just get inside and hit as many panels as you can with a Rubber mallet. You will soon find out whether you have a loose panel or not.

Try to get some glue into the joints and definitely put more screws in.
Occasionally, I've had this problem with cabs that have been dropped form a great height, and because all the internal joints are grooved, I've been able to drill additional holes and pump glue directly into the joints and add more screws. This has always cured the problem.
