Hi all
Just came across the site while looking for some new speaker cab designs. I have been working with pro audio gear for arround 25 years and run a mid sized 8k PA rig. Currently running JBL JRX (125,112 and 118s) range speakers with Crown XTI amps but realy want to build my own again. Looking forward to having fun with the power tools smiley20

Thanks for the welcome. I have been taking a look at the Cubo18 bins. Looks like I have found my first project.

Hi Darren I've built the Cubo 18's and the 15's you won't be disappointed. If You need any build pics I can mail you some?

Thanks Jim.
Some pics would be great.
I have a set of 4 18" ,direct radiating/ported JBL bins that I want to use the drivers and cab hardware from. I want to get a little more efficiency from them and get away from the Naff carpet covered cabs. They are 18mm MDF and don't have mutch in the way of bracing in them. I also think that the tiny cabs are restricting the lower frequency extension of what seem to be quite good drivers. Once I have that sorted I wan't to look at doing something with the other cabs that I have. possibly look at 8 Cubo 15s, horn loaded mids perhaps using paired 10" units and then finaly combination upper mid/top cabs each with a pair of 2" CD horns in and a set of 4 radial units to get me up to 18+Khz with reasonable dispersion.
