Making my 1st bins - Where to start!?

Hello all!

I am looking to make my 1st set of bins but I dont really know where to start. I am looking to make some general purpose speakers (if that's possible) but I dont have any idea where to start!? I have looked through the plans on this site and am happy to give anything a crack, just need to be pointed in the right direction with regards to the bins and the drivers to put in them!

how many people would be listening to your system..... 50, 100, 500 plus....... whats your budget.........

I would like to build it for 100 - 200 people. At the moment my budget if fairly open as I dont know how much I am going to have to spend. I would like to make my 1st bins on the cheaper side because this is my 1st time in making bins.

are you looking for just bass cabs or base and tops......

Remember stacking height, also what amp power at what ohms?

Reflex 2 x 15 are always a good start.

I honestly dont know... I am after some general purpose speakers, hopefully down the track I will build other bins to make a full system setup... but for the time being I am looking for something to get started with. Nothing TOO flashy, just something to get my teeth into

i would look at 2 mid tops and 2 bass cabs....... this can be driven off 2 amps and a cross over........
