in need of HELP

Hello all
I'm fairly new to this stuff! I have a laptop playing thru emb mixer, thru musysic 6500 watt amp running vm audio 2x 600 watt 3-way, 2x 400 watt 2-way full range, with a powered sub coming off mixer. I had the ohms right.
now I know that the wattage rating on this stuff is BOLOGNA, but I don't think I should be clipping. Is there any way to know the true watts of any equipment? any advice, I don't want to burn anything up.

you will need some test equipment first of all a dummy load there will act like the speaker and in a oscilloscope to check the unit to see where to start clipping
