Does anyone find it a bit contrary having judges in a ENTERTAINMENTcompetition??

SURELY this is about the people, and therefore the people should decide who is the best entertainer.

It would of been good if that was the case as 99% of the crowd did not want us to be knocked out when we did and all kicked off about it! smiley36 so we must of entertained them surely

now that BNE has got a bigger following, there will be more and more people attending who are there to be entertained. i think it will become more and more applicable to use this system

having judges just sterilizes the whole thing a bit IMO

(no disrespect to Ren, Bush or Paulus, of course)

at the first heat, for half of the session i was thinking to myself, "where on earth are the voting cards...and why are Ren and Bush walking around with notepads?"

then i remembered lol

bring back the true meaning to the event, and bring back the vote.

not sure, but it's been put on s.p now anyway. I'm gutted i couldnt make it to the 2010 bne. how different was that compared to heat 1 from bne 2011 you went to?

the game has been stepped imo!!

2010 i think everyone didn't know what to expect.

2012 is going to be serious if it happens!!

People in crowd will always vote for systems who are their mates, not on technical excellence.

You can't beat impartial judges who are soundmen, and know the game, and know what makes a good system.

Sick of people saying saying systems are great, when they just have sub pressure, and no mid tops, or sparkle, or tunes.. :lol:
