We past by Wassi One /Twelve12 sound at Brixton this past Sunday, my brethrin J-Vibe has a link with him. Now on Music selection, he is hard to touch, but I have to say the system him was a playing on, was not saying much.
Looked like Fane loaded 'old' scoops without a cross brace (larry dubz?), that seemed out of phase (I man personally had this problem recently, so can kind of see/hear it now LOL), and the mids were not up to much. Of course I am comparing this to the four systems I heard latter that night, I know at Brixton he was outside, and the evening systems were inside, but you can still tell if a 8 scoop system if doing a good job or not whatever the venue.
I really hope that system gets sorted, as the choons he dropped were first class.

That's the 1st time I've knowingly heard wattco scoops and was impressed.
Balistic shined through their mishaps in a very proffessional manner and still managed to keep up with the others.
Their weakest point is lack of mic.
WassieOne took the crown for the overall entertainment. Nuff lyrics and vibes, 1man selector and mic man.
I think the sound quality was ok but didn't stand out to me.
Ebony, Ebony, Ebony.........I think they had a smaller stack than usually that sounded ok if not a little loud on the Mids.
Biggup Eternity for helping to keep the SoundSytem ting alive!!!!!

We now all know it was 6x scoop madness... Heh heh
Ebony
Sounded nice and heavy at Times, tops sounded cleaner towards end
Wassie1
As everyone has said, Not sub "machine" but entertainment and top Mic work
Ballistic -
Only 2x scoops but still impressed everyone, and soldiered thru Mishaps smiley32
@Luton, I managed to shake dust from high ceiling in my unit's loading bay, with 2x of those scoops,
so check out the stuff we discussed last night. smiley2
Eternity
Took the crown on the night, yes had 6x scoops, but to get that performance from 9001 on 13A plug
all night, with no pre-amp, means they know what they were doing.
Might have to take another look at 9001. :problem:

Different yes, but loading bay is bigger, with part of ceiling 2x as high that venue.
Just remembering my testing I did before NYE2008 gig, with my previous SteveBs, and really huge venue; can confirm was getting similiar issues to those discussed, until few changes made <wink>...
