jig saw bench or guide or other

I have a combi small table saw, it's great to cut little panel but....the table is not large enough to cut big sheets. However it's my bracing machine.
But the festool jigsaw it's amazing! I put it in my wish list For now I'll continue using my makita jigsaw with diy metal guide but, this vids inspire an idea. I'll modify 2 clamps to fit in my guide so I can cut 2 large sheet together!

you could just use anL shaped metel pieceand clamp it to your wood. Run your table saw up againt it .

This is what I use, the pictures hopefully explain it better than I can. The saw is a £30 130mm jobby. The guide it slides in just rests on top of the piece being cut, allowing different thicknesses to be cut, and a simple lift off to change the piece, no need to feed it in from the end.

It can only cut board up to 615mm wide, so the main use is for cutting mitres on flare sections for bass horns. I have various other guides for chopping 8x4s into strips of the required width.

I might make another guide to allow using a router on it, maybe with a tilting facility too.

On another note, does anyone here use Onsrud Inverted Routers? I've seen one at a cabinet shop and was wondering what anybody on here thinks of them.

Brilliant! Been waiting to see this picture for a very long time! I take it you painstakingly made sure the rail sits over the main part at 90' and then dont have to worry about it ever again right?

Ive been using a zero difference cutting jig (like your straight part here... kinda, except the blade touches the edge of the jig?) and the time spent making every line at spot on 90 and checking and double checking and then lining the rig up for every cut is far too great.
