tractrix on akabak was created by bitzo
Hi all,
I'm trying to sim a tractrix contour on akabak. I've written a bash script to do that. It takes the exported csv file of hornresp and write down the akabak scripts. I've just found a bug, akabak takes only 56 elements, one is rear chamber, another is the compression chamber, antoher is the radiator so I have only 53 node to describe the horn shape.
In your opinion what is the more correct way to approximate this shape in 53 segments?
cheers, bitzo

use excel to produce you tractrix shape - plenty to find out there.
add a column that shows the angle at each point (delta x over delta y)
add another column showing the change between these angles.
pick your 53 sections by grouping together areas with least significant change into conical sections.
I know its a half worked out solution but it might be worth your trouble....
