The price of Matrix amps

I bought a Matrix XP3000H about two and half years ago, and have since sold it, but then it cost me £390 + about £10 postage,
Now I see one for sale for £800, more than double. [img]smileys/smiley21.gif[/img]

Is this the recession in action or what?

you should have bought afew more at 390 when you had the chance

approx 9 years ago when we had matrix come round to demo the str3000 it retailed at approx £1600.

i should imagine that andy is doing what any good buisness should, and settingthe highestprice that the market will accept

or will they? its a big jump - there are a lot of good amp options, new or second hand for that money

was 600 a couple weeks back,

local shonky shop has had a scratched s/h ukp2100 sitting on its shelf for a year now, with a price tag of £899.95 stuck on it.
Idiots. The rest of the shop is full of Kam gear!

When they were first released on Andy's Web shop they were an absolute bargain and to be honest probably did not get the respect that they were due because of the low price.

Maybe now that they will not bee seen as a "cheap" amp they will get the respect they truly deserve. In my opinion they are still a good buy, especially with the personalized back-up etc.

I got mine as a B-stock for a good price earlier this year. He said at the time that people had told him they were too cheap, so he increased the price! I guess the cost of raw materials, time, etc. has all increased too, pushing it up further.

Agreed, although it's still a little difficult to some to terms with.

Hope all those people who told him to put price up are still buying them.

Gentlemen I have put the price up as the XP range is going over to switch mode in the new year.
and if people watch the forums it is possible people may post there comments on the Beta testing. as to my Sale's I would like to Thank all my Valued customers for there support and custom.
And with my greatest disappointment, I have Completely sold out of The XP3000's.
At the Higher price.
