I think D2 will depend on wherever your chosen comp ends up and I remember reading on here that it does not matter really as the comp chamber is sealed off from the mid driver chamber. D1 will probably also end up being wherever you think it looks right depending on which comp horn you get for your chosen driver.

Yeah the space behind the comp driver should not matter. If you were using a different mid range cone, you might be able to utilize the D2 space to increase the chamber volume up to like 3 times the volume in the plans. Would certainly change the response and spl, but it would be an easy way to work with alternate drivers requiring a larger chamber volume.

Anyone have any hints on how to get this plan to download? My computer continually locks up when I try to get it. I've used several download options and none of them work!

I think just right click on the image of the plan and "save image as".

Wow, that looks like a heavy box without any drivers in! What if the gig is upstairs and there is no lift / elevator?

Carry it on up, maybe with help. Pain in the a#s but that is what you do when you have to. This is a big top, but not too heavy compared to a big horn loaded sub.

Thanks, I think I have to say this one is not for me then. Got to be nearly 40kg huh?
It's never usually the weight so much as how awkward the box is to carry in my experience but both become an issue with difficult access.
