new toys- now with bowls

got my limmer 042 delivered today with drivers:



the mould is pretty much perfect, as expected. also, the 6" seems to be threaded for the bolt holes.

gonna be crossed over from 12" horns at about 800hz and fitted with link dynamics passive x-overs. we will be building some wooden back bowls for the 6" out of layered rings of ply or mdf. the boxes for the flares are made so the angle between the centres of a pair of them will be 75degrees. gonna get em built up by next friday to christen them [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

There they only cost 300 euros which is 237 £ (exchange rate 1.2639).

it was the deal on speakerstore, pieter, that price is excluding VAT and shipping plus a small fee for the bank transfer. all the same, it is (at least i think it is) an absolute steal.

Allright doesn't matter anyway. The shipping costs for you are indeed higher for you than for me because i live on the european main land.
But anyway, what are you hoping to build? Are you going to use it over an 12"?
