bitzo wrote: Sorry for reviving this thread but I'm studying a bit more the eminence scoop. Should be stupid but how much is the compression chamber? If I calc the vtc where this end so when horn start to expand really, it reaches about 100 liters without driver. am I wrong?
EDIT: Wow, have learnt a lot since originally posting this..
Removed estimate of this being "approx 67L" chamber, as is more likely to be around 80L.
Seems large, however know of another scoop with similiar chamber and throat, and with tmax 1200 it pounds, still being in control with 1kw input.

the out come was that the schematic was right and the sizes were a typo error, so lots of peeps are using the Emi scoop with neg expansion because of a silly printing mistake

Bitzo, have an idea.
Take a look at this "original" Eminence 18 scoop plan.

When this cab is built H48", W24", 29"D, with approx 5" gap below rear baffle + corner bracing/deflectors, it gives stunning performance with these drivers and many similiar,

V18-1000
PD186
Maybe you could draw this up and sim it, and I can tell if your sim results tally with real world observations.
